Between  Human    Nature    Space

In June 2016, I exhibited the conversation between outside space, as a playground, as an activity that is happening around us and sometimes in us.
Inner EARTH as a quiet and open space that can receive and leave experiences WITHIN us.
With the questions:

What are we choosing to bring inside the space?

What is happening in-between?

How can we find and bring the balance?

As humanS, we can change and bring new forces to different spaces that have been neglected, by the awareness of working with time, creativity, expectations & love.

For 5 weeks I worked to fix a yurt that was built in 2001 as a final project by a woman, named Isabel. Since that time space has grown with some students projects (exhibitions, installation, sculpture).

It was a real jungle, it felt like the space cried for help and I could hear it. I have seen the potential of the place and the importance of its' essence.

It was a such a rich experience. The eyes of the community were opened & brought light to space through my action.

This process taught me about pain but from a therapeutic prescriptive.

On the last day of the project, I realized my new questions and the pain that was in my life. We grow and learn from pain and it is our choice to deal with it, in our own individual way...

Life is dynamic, full of surprises, we are always in a process...

whenever I visit England I can still hear the space echo guide me, I carry the responsibility through time.

* There are some previous and new pictures of the space and a painting that shows how space also can live in a painting, that I created 2 days before the exhibition.

This is a story of thoughts hanging on an infinity line, my umbilical cord pulled the English spring sun to the quiet open field, where the dandelions spread our wishes to the sky, where I can become...

Installation art (2013-2016)

Installation art is a big topic that is so hard and so easy to explain.

My experience with installation art started in 2013, by walking every day to the beach in Israel, during my steps I discovered a lot of trash- like plastic, shoes, door, carpet, wheels,  glass and many traces of humans....

Something in me wanted to act, I started to make an installation with things that I found, it made me happy to do something with our garbage.

I become aware of the recycling process, how and to where my garbage goes, "The Pacific garbage patch"- have you heard about it?! Boyan Slat plan? , something?!....

I start to criticize my culture, the education system and myself but every day I added more to the sculptures.

One day I took my family to help me lift a tree that I found, it was great to reveal the relationship with the sea.

After a few weeks, to my surprise, I found that there was a new sculpture that was not mine.... beautiful!

The experience that I can reach to another's heart through art...

for me, that is the power of art.

In 2015 I participated in a wool workshop, my final piece was creating an installation art presenting a story,
that weaved my thoughts.

I showed 7 pieces as one story that hung 2 m from the floor by 2 iron poles-

"It is a story of two infinite lines"

1. Hair dryer with felt pieces.

2. Steamer metal shelf- kitchen equipment with coloured wool.
3. Metal reel with white and black felt.
4. A plastic sheet with 2 famous soldiers.
5. Net that used to make felt with black and white felt snake.
6. Light bulb with tiny wool pieces.
7. Typewriter covered with cotton.

Another installation piece called "Cover".

In this project, I explored the meaning of carpet...
Lying under it, as though I was under the water, it felt like a different sphere...

I went back to when I was a child closing my eyes playing hide & seek with the light.

Social thoughts accompanied me, lead me to ask questions about our masks as physical and spiritual beings, our cover as individual, social, society & world cover

How and why we cover and with what?

"Cover, to cover, cover your..."

Reflection installation project- using the inspiration of a mirror

It all started when I was child, I broke my first mirror, there is a superstition that if you break a mirror you will have 7 years of bad luck... almost 20 years after I decided to take responsibility for my life.

I wrapped a mirror in a cloth and tied it with a rope, found a big stone and set the mirror in front of it, promising my self to win everyday under the sun & accept the symphony of life.

This mirror installation project came after my questions about reflection, trying to imagine how it felt like for the first being to see their reflection....

How reflections take place in our daily life-

Where is it clear?, Where can we see our self in the eyes of the other? , When is it all twisted? When I just see my self?, How does it feel to find pieces of my reflection?
